The Ministry of Agriculture, with the support of FAO, founded a program aimed at strengthening agricultural produce. The program, which is financed by the Italian embassy, organized a workshop today that was attended by 28 engineers, most of whom are employed in the guidance program of the Ministry of Agriculture. The objective of the workshop was to train engineers on how to best care for citrus products. Following the workshop, the engineers will be allocated to separate regions where they will educate farmers on modern methods of citrus farming.
