June 28, 2011 - The Association of Banks in Lebanon (ABL) is organizing a conference on the “Corporate Governance for Banks”, on Monday (July 4) at the ABL headquarters.

The conference, organized in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), comes as part of efforts deployed by the ABL to promote the culture of good governance in the banking sector. It is embodied by the issue of the publication titled: “Corporate Governance Guidelines for Banks operating in Lebanon”, as well as the amendments circulars issued by the Central Bank on the subject, particularly in terms of Boards’ committee membership.
