Lebanon ranked the 95^th among 138 countries and the 11^th among 15 Arab states in the Networked Readiness Index of the Global Information Technology Report 2010-2011.

According to the report, published by the World Economic Forum, Lebanon ranked 81^st globally, 11^th among Arab states, and 22^nd among average to high income countries for the “Environment Component”. The environment component is composed of the market, regulatory, and infrastructure pillars.

Lebanon ranked 85^th globally, 9^th among Arab states, and 23^rd among average to high income economies, for the “Readiness Component”. The readiness component measures the preparation and willingness of the three stakeholder groups, individuals, businesses, and governments, to use technology, particularly ICT, in their day-to-day activities and transactions.

The country ranked 100^th  on a global scale, 11^th among Arab states, and 27^th among average to high income countries, for the “Usage Component”. This component measures the actual ICT usage by an economy’s main social actors.
